    Camus Vs 700ml

    KSh4,100.00

Camus VS Cognac is part of the core range of cognacs from the largest family-owned cognac house. All cognacs from the house include at least some eaux-de-vie from the Borderies region. The VS is part of its collection of intensely aromatic cognacs. The wines are distilled on the lees and a technique called “Instensity” is used in the distillation process where the “heads” that present the best aromatic qualities are selected rather than being redistilled and set aside. The eaux-de-vie is matured in small, lightly toasted fine grain French oak. Aged a minimum of 2 years.

    Camus XO Borderies 700ml

    KSh68,999.00

    Camus Extra Old Borderies Cognac

Prepare to experience a blend of the finest eaux-de-vie from the smallest terroir in the Cognac region. The Camus XO Borderies Cognac is a single cru blend from the Borderies terroir, which is famous for its long finish and full bodied, rounded flavor. It is currently the only single Borderies growth Cognac for sale worldwide, and for that reason has caught the attention of many Cognac lovers, and winning multiple awards for the simplicity in its innovation. The aromatic and velvet quality of a fine Borderies blend is what makes this Cognac a true champion. The process of a Camus Cognac is that the spirits are distilled on the lees, and then when ready, are aged in Limousin oak barrels for many years. An Extra Old Cognac, all of the eaux-de-vie are at least 10 years old and require years of careful supervision, so that the Cellar Master knows the exact moment to bottle their magic.

The Camus Cognac house are one of the few large maisons that have managed to remain entirely family-run. Their family estate, Plessis, is located in the heart of the Borderies region, and thanks to a series of fortunate land acquisitions, they have got to know the terroir and its qualities better than most. Jean Paul Camus guides the maison’s philosophy, and it is he who spotted the potential of the Borderies cru early on.

    Eye: Amber.

Nose: Floral, sweet, vanilla, almonds, violets, and hazelnuts.

Palate: Fruity and mellow, sweet pastry, cinnamon, old port, and dried fruits.

    Courvoisier Napoleon 700ml

    KSh16,900.00

    Description

The Courvoisier Fine Champagne Napoleon Cognac

Indulge in a little part of history, with a bottle dedicated to Napoleon Bonaparte’s love for Cognac. The Courvoisier Napoleon Cognac is somewhat of an icon; despite the fact that the house of Courvoisier was created 14 years after. While Napoleon himself did not get to try this luxurious spirit, its legacy is long lasting, as Napoleon III made Courvoisier their official Cognac supplier to the Imperial Court in 1869. The eaux-de-vie of this Napoleon Cognac are derived from both the Grande and Petite Champagne terroirs, and are blended together with the utmost expertise and care. This very spirit has had enough influence in the Cognac name to have an age denomination named after it. This Napoleon Cognac has been aged for up to 20 years, and its qualities from the Fine Champagne give it the lengthy finish that so many Cognac lovers desire. The chalky composition of the soil in this region is a result of millions of years of fossilization; now it is one of the most sought-after regions in Cognac, and produces high quality Cognacs such as this one.

    Courvoisier Napoleon Cognac serving suggestions

The bottle of the Courvoisier Napoleon Fine Champagne is easily recognizable among the Cognac icons. It has a short body, and a long neck, with a luxurious label. It should be enjoyed on ice, or neat.
